School - Upper School Subjects

This course offers a solid introduction to industry-standard computing, including systems development, technical aspects of hardware, software & networks, information processing concepts, database design, programming and web-based business systems, as well as covering the legal, ethical and social aspects of modern computing.

The focus of this course will be the commercial use of computers, covering such contexts as computer systems in the manufacturing industry, virtual reality and entertainment.

Year 11  2ACSE, 2BCSE

Prerequisite:    High competence in Maths

Desirable:     Year 10 Programming
