School - Upper School Subjects
The course is divided into units where each unit consists of a certain amount of core work and some optional work. It is a course that essentially looks at the different systems that make up the body.In particular, the systems studied are those involved with cells and tissues, digestion, respiration, circulation, nutrition, the skeletal system, muscles, reproduction, genetics and growth and development.
This unit gives students a good understanding of how their bodies work and how it copes with disease. It complements the subject Biology, but only the best score in one of these subjects (Biology or Human Biology) will count towards the TEE score.
Year 11 – D406
