School - Upper School Subjects
This subject extends work done in Year 11 Information Systems and examines data communication, networks, hardware, software and the principles of programming. It provides students with a solid basis for further study in a wide range of disciplines.
At the end of the course, students will have an awareness of information systems that affect our lives, an understanding of the role of technology and to develop skills in the analysis and design of information systems.

Prerequisite: C, B or A grade in Year 11 Information Systems
Homework / Home Study Requirements: A minimum of 3 hours per week.
