In response to the major changes in education, training and the job market Busselton SHS has introduced a new school program to replace the largely outdated TARGET stream. TAFE LINKS is a 4 day school and 1 day TAFE program which provides students not only with a West Australian Certificate of Education (Secondary Graduation) but also with a training qualification from TAFE.
Students who complete the TAFE Links Course will have a far greater chance to enter popular TAFE courses beyond Year 12 and also have enhanced employment prospects. Students in this course will be under the care of a designated co-ordinator who will be available to look after the whole range of their pastoral care needs.
