This exciting vocational course offers students scope to develop a range of skills and abilities within the field of recreation, fitness and business or any work which requires physical fitness. The course offers a nationally recognized qualification, a Certificate II in Sport (Coaching), as well as a WACE Certificate (Secondary Graduation) and Structured Workplace Learning. Students will also be given the opportunity to gain many recognized certificates such as Senior First Aid, Bronze Medallion and Level 1 Sports Specifics.
Students enrolled within the course will be involved in activities such as fitness testing and analysis, specific sports, camping, coaching, umpiring, computing, team building, active after school program, nutrition, ecology and canoeing.
Involvement in this course provides students with opportunities for employment and/or further training at TAFE or university as well as providing them with many extremely valuable life skills.
